Hey, I’m Veronica! 👋
I’m a full-stack developer who also happens to run a small creative business. Turns out, understanding both sides gives me a different perspective on building tools that actually work for real people.
Currently I’m building CraftCore — partly because I need it myself, partly because I think other creators might too. (Revolutionary concept, I know!)
The Plot Twist
After years of building software for other people, I decided to build something for myself — and it completely changed how I see things. Running a small business taught me what it’s like on the other side of the screen: the juggling, the late nights, the “why won’t this sync?” moments.
I’ve battled both JavaScript bugs and Etsy algorithms, and somewhere in between, I learned what businesses actually need — tools that make life easier, not more complicated.
These days, my work lives somewhere between code, craft, and creativity.
The Developer Side
15+ years of building everything from enterprise tools to creative side projects. React, Node.js, TypeScript — the whole stack. I love turning complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions that actually feel good to use.
The Creator Side
Running Knit Code Make taught me what small businesses really wrestle with. Spoiler: it’s rarely the code — it’s the endless admin, the clunky integrations, and the “why is this button blue now?” moments that drain creative energy.
The Sweet Spot
Now I help teams build tools that solve real problems — especially the ones I’ve felt firsthand. Think of me as a translator between what users say they want and what they actually need.
What I’m Building
From client work to passion projects, here’s what keeps me busy (when I’m not untangling yarn or debugging JavaScript).
CraftCore
A creator-first platform I’m building to fix the messy parts of running a small creative business — from discovery to ops. It’s early, but the direction is clear: fewer tabs, more flow.
KnitCodeMake
My handmade studio — and the reason CraftCore exists. I’m refreshing the product line and site after a cross-country move, with an emphasis on bold, inclusive design.
Tooling Tracker
A catalog and inventory tracker for PotterUSA tools, helping makers organize collections and discover new designs. Currently in maintenance mode while I prep for the next update.
From Apple’s internal tools to Funko’s mobile app, I’ve worked at companies of all sizes building software that real people use every day.
